From August 8th to 19st, the 21th Sino-foreign Convention and Exhibition Project (Nanjing) Cooperation Fair (EPFIC 2020) was successfully held at Nanjing Airport International Expo Center. The theme of this year's fair is "Ten Years of Building Dreams, Prospering in the Water", which is sponsored by the People's Government of Lishui District of Nanjing and the magazine "Chinese and Foreign Exhibition", and co-organized by Beijing Xinzhan International Media Co., Ltd., Nanjing Airport International Expo Center and Jiangsu Suyun Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd. This fair has made major breakthroughs and remarkable achievements in terms of exhibition transactions, the number of participants and the urbanization of the exhibition.
According to statistics,The total number of EPFIC2020 participants exceeded 1300,300 again after last year, including nearly 20 professional visitors invited by the organizing committee. During the EPFIC period, a total of 7 conferences and sub-forums were held, and <> annual reports of the exhibition subdivision industry were released at the same time, which won unanimous praise from the majority of exhibition colleagues.

At the EPFIC2020 important event, the "High-end Symposium of Convention and Exhibition City Leaders", the organizers brought together the government exhibition departments of cities across the country to discuss the current hot topics of exhibition and the epidemic prevention and control situation in each city, aiming to provide a platform for each city to communicate with each other and learn from each other. With the theme of "'Protection' and 'Stability' of the Convention and Exhibition Economy", the symposium invited 17 government convention and exhibition related departments from 24 cities in 38 provinces to participate in the symposium, and discussed hot topics such as "the opportunities and challenges faced by cities under the current situation", "the government's measures to eliminate concerns about epidemic safety prevention and control", and "the main ways to strengthen linkage and cooperation between cities in the face of the exhibition peak in the second half of the year".
The leaders of the participating cities generally believe that although the industry has suffered a major blow due to the epidemic and needs time to recover, all cities should fully support the resumption of the exhibition and the resumption of the conference. Under the normalization of the epidemic, all cities will carry out and strengthen the guidance of the exhibition industry in an orderly manner, learn from each other's experience, achieve information exchange, sharing, and take the initiative, actively respond to the call of the central government, give full play to the joint role of all parties, and widely guide market players to drum up confidence in development and empower the industry.

During the award ceremony, Chen Zeyan, executive deputy director of the Academic Steering Committee of the China Convention and Exhibition Economy Research Association, released the "White Paper on National Convention and Exhibition Industry Policies and Regulations (2019)". The White Paper is an important witness and vivid portrayal of the development of China's exhibition industry, an important information for people in the industry to study the development level and industry status of the exhibition industry, and the first and most complete and systematic compilation of national exhibition industry policies and regulations in the country. According to statistics, the exhibition policies issued in 2019 specifically cover 6 exhibition policies issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, 57 exhibition policies issued by local governments, and 40 exhibition policies issued by departments (bureaus) of commerce at all levels. These documents and policies are directly related to the business of the corresponding departments, reflecting the extensive correlation between the administrative departments of the exhibition industry and the richness of the exhibition policies in 2019.
