On the morning of November 2019, 11, the 9th China (Hui'an) International Sculpture Art Fair, co-sponsored by the People's Government of Hui'an County, the China Arts and Crafts Society and the China Arts and Crafts Association, was grandly opened in the Hui'an Sculpture Art and Creative Park.

Xiao Hanhui, Deputy Mayor of Quanzhou Municipal People's Government, Huang Wensheng, Secretary of the Hui'an County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Lai Qingzheng, County Mayor of Hui'an County People's Government, as well as leaders, experts and scholars from some industry associations across the country, cultural celebrities, heads of well-known art institutions, as well as exhibitors and buyers from all over the world attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, the award ceremony of the 2nd National Shadow Carving On-site Skills Competition, the 6th China (Hui'an) Traditional Carving Competition sponsored by the China Arts and Crafts Society and the 5th National College Graduate Stone Carving Creation Camp were held together. Subsequently, the awarding ceremony of the "Arts and Crafts Science Education Base" of the China Arts and Crafts Society, the "Stone Carving and Design Decoration Training Center" of the China Stone Association, and the "Vocational Ability Evaluation Agency" of the Fujian Stone Industry Association was also held.

With the theme of "meeting in the world's stone carving capital and sharing the cultural feast of carving", the expo will combine "exhibition and sales, exhibition and conference, exhibition and competition" to hold a series of business negotiations, industrial docking and carving skills exchange activities.

The 10nd National Shadow Carving On-site Skills Competition and the 25th China (Hui'an) Traditional Sculpture Competition, as the activities of the expo, opened on the morning of October 26 and <> respectively.

As an excellent representative of traditional folk crafts in southern Fujian, the art of shadow carving has been inherited for more than 300 years. In order to fully demonstrate the profound heritage of Hui'an carving art, carry forward the "craftsman spirit", tap the artistic talents of shadow carving, and promote the inheritance, innovation, development and exchange of traditional handicrafts of shadow carving, the People's Government of Hui'an County, the China Arts and Crafts Society and the Quanzhou Federation of Trade Unions decided to co-sponsor the second National Shadow Carving On-site Skills Competition.

The specifications and events of this year's National Film Sculpture On-site Skills Competition have been upgraded, and the scale has been expanded to 5 participants from 42 provinces. After 4 days of non-stop on-site creation, 1 gold award ("Home Year" Wang Zhineng), 3 silver awards ("Whisper" Lin Bijuan, "Kindness Like Water" Fang Shiying, "Homesickness-I Love You Hui'an" Zhang Yueping) and 6 bronze awards ("Open Sea" Cai Jianqiang, "Ode to Joy" Li Xuehua, "Huifeng Hechang" Zhuang Xiaoqin, "Fishing Return" Wang Yansen, " Looking forward to returning" Zhuang Yuelian, "Hometown Beauty" Zhuang Huiping).
